Her life changed after her husband, a professional athlete, suddenly became paralyzed and was diagnosed with West Nile Virus, Swine Flu and Guillain-Barré Syndrome. After six weeks practicing gratitude, he recovered miraculously and was able to leave the hospital without help. Since then, Jennifer’s work focuses on emotional intelligence.
She is a co-founder of Plasticity Labs, a technology company that offers organizations toolkits to take advantage of employee affection and increase happiness in the workplace and is also co-founder of The HERO Generation, a non-profit organization that implements the HERO model based on gratitude, with the aim of reducing stress in teachers and students alonside with increasing wellness and performance.
